Madeas Big Happy Family ENG 225 Instructor: 13 may 2012 The movie Tyler Perrys Madeas Big Happy Family is a comedy/ gambol close to Madeas niece Shirley who receives a frightening medical diagnosis that leaves her with weeks to live. She is having a hard time figuring out how to break the discussion to the rest of the family and they do non make it easy for her because of in all told the conflict and cursing that goes on when they express together. Unfortunately shes not the only one having issues in their lives. Cora (Tamela Mann) and Mr. Brown (David Mann) are at the hospital, to get Mr. Brown a check-up. Dr. Evans identifys them he has to do a colonoscopy on Mr. Brown, and they find a growth that needs to be removed surgically. Meanwhile Madea (Tyler Perry) drives her car through a eatery because they halt serving breakfast. Shirleys children Byron (Bow Wow), tam-o-shanter (Natalie Desselle-Reid), and Kimberly (Shannon Kane) arrive at the dinner. Byron arrives with his missy Renee (Lauren London) and his wanton Byron Jr. Tammy arrives with her husband Harold (Rodney Perry) and their two kids, Tammy and Harold fighting about directions. Kimberly arrives with her husband Calvin (Isaiah Mustafa).

Tammy and Kimberly start to fight, and Byrons ex-girlfriend Sabrina (Teyana Taylor) arrives. During the night, Byron and Renee sneak inside Shirleys house to sleep there, however Byron gets arrested by the police for back child support. Shirley goes to Kimberlys house to remove her to hamper him out, but Kimberly refuses.
